This is the flag of Scotland, St. Andrew's Saltire. The colour is used here is the origional colour one would find in the Union flag and used as the national flag before a 2003 committee of the Scottish Parliament met to examine a petition that the Scottish Government adopt the Pantone 300 colour as a standard.

The base image is from the main Scottish flag. FOTW has information about the colour.

For the correct colour, see Image:Flag of Scotland.svg. For the traditional colour, see Image:Flag of Scotland (traditional).svg

This work is based on a work in the public domain. It has been digitally enhanced and/or modified. This derivative work has been (or is hereby) released into the public domain by its author, Hoshie. This applies worldwide.
